OFFERS, VOUCHER & PRICE PROMISE SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS

One voucher per session. New customers only.

Multiple may be bought as gifts. Gift purchases cannot be used for customers who have taken part in a photoshoot with us before that has been bought through a deal website. If we feel that customers are abusing any offer, we have the right to refuse multiple purchases.

Maximum people per booking is set at the discretion of each studio - varies per studio.

Vendor reserves right to withdraw offer at any time.

Not all studios provide Cake Smash Photoshoot services. Check with My Local Studio for individual studio services. Customer must supply cake for a Cake Smash shoot.

Printed voucher code, cut-out coupon or electronic copy of voucher on phone must be brought to photoshoot to be applied.

Booking needs to be made by calling 01908 018 530 and quoting which offer you wish to redeem.

At the time of booking My Local Studio OR the selected studio will take a £25 fully refundable booking deposit to reserve your slot. As long as you abide by our cancellation policy terms and conditions, your booking deposit will be refunded to you at your viewing or after your photoshoot, dependant on individual studio policy.

Cancellation Policy - Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. Should you need to change or cancel your booking, you can do so free of charge up to 72 hours prior to your appointment with us. However, should you opt to reschedule or cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment time then your pre-paid booking deposit will be retained as we will already have confirmed your appointment with our photographer. You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by contacting the selected studio directly.

All products included in voucher deals are to be of the same image.

Once allocated to a studio the voucher is valid for three months. If you need to extend this validity, check with your selected studio vendor.

No cash alternative will be offered.

Entrants must be over 18 and UK residents.

Studio locations are subject to change. Studio selected must be part of the My Local Studio group. Check studio locations or with My Local Studio directly

Not all photographic studios who are part of My Local Studio offer cinematic viewings. Check with the individual studio which full services are provided with the photographic experience.

Some studios may charge postage and packaging to send your images. My Local Studio will not be held accountable for any additional charges.

My Local Studio cannot be held responsible for any personal loss or injury at participating venues, as far as permitted by law.

My Local Studio cannot be held accountable for the quality and accuracy of services provided at each studio. All complaints and discrepancies with customer experience should be directly to the studio vendor directly.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS​

Check with your selected photographers for payment requirements. Payment may be required for all product orders in advance. Collection of all product orders are set by each studio (manufacturing times may vary depending on products ordered and how busy the current period is - typically 3-9 weeks)

Payment for your photo shoot secures your time and expertise of the photographer. Results of your photo shoot cannot be guaranteed by My Local Studio.

You agree to grant the photographer creative and artistic licence. The judgement of the photographer in choice of all aspects of the session shall be deemed to be correct. Some photographs may not be possible due to the willingness of any subject, changes in the weather or any other conditions beyond our control. The number of images taken and processed will be deemed to be correct.

The photographs produced are protected by law. Upon final payment by you, each My Local Studio partner will grant limited copyright ownership of the resulting images which may be used only for personal use and may not be copied or reprinted without permission. This permission is included with purchased digital images with which the owner may make prints for personal use and sharing. You must obtain written permission from your select Studio Photographer prior to you, friends or relatives publishing or selling the images for profit.
All rights remain firmly with the individual studio company in respect of use of images.

No camera or camera phone use is permitted in the photography studio or viewing room. If we see a camera or camera phone being used then the shoot/ viewing will be stopped and the deposit will be kept. Please notify all parties to this effect. You are more than welcome to use your phone anywhere else within the building.

My Local Studios will not be held accountable of the unlikely event that the photographer is injured, becomes too ill or has an extreme emergency. Your selected studio will make every effort to reschedule the event. If for whatever reason this is not possible, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received.

Orders placed at our studios are final at the time of purchase. If you have placed your order over the phone then distance selling regulations apply unless you have purchased and received digital content. All digital content is non refundable across all My Local Studios.

My Local Studio reserves the right to decline any promotional vouchers if we feel that the customer is not using the offer in the spirit in which the deal was intended. Offers are designed for one household at a time. They are not designed to ascertain multiple pieces of wall art for one customer. The notion of a gift is for the voucher to be shared with a different friend or family household.

My Local Studio may use your images for social media & advertising purposes. If you do not wish them to be used then please simply email us at info@mylocalstudio.co.uk

Customers arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule. This will be then be classed as a no show and a cancellation charge will be applicable in line with our cancellation policy by the studio you are attending.

Finance customers: If any payments are missed and we have to pass the debt to an external company, extra fees may be occurred. Each studio has varying payment and credit finance options. Check directly with your vendor.

SOCIAL COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Any My Local Studio competitions are open to new customers only.

The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone. If the winner cannot be contacted or they do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, My Local Studio reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any promotional material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. My Local Studio reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

My Local Studio shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this web page.

My Local Studio has the right to select an appropriate studio that the customer will attend in order to claim prize offered. ​
FINANCE SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1 Definitions
In these terms and conditions:
‘Agreement’ means the fixed sum loan agreement which incorporates these terms and conditions;
‘Amount of Loan’ means the amount stated in the Financial Details section of the Agreement as the Amount of Loan;
‘Customer’, ‘you’ and ‘your’ means the customer whose details appear in the Parties section of the Agreement;
‘Default’ means any event or circumstance listed in clauses 4.1.1 to 4.1.6.;
‘Default Charges’ means those charges stated in the Missing Payments section of the Agreement as the default charges under this Agreement;
‘Deposit’ means the amount stated in the Financial Details section of the Agreement as the deposit in this Agreement;
‘Goods and Services’ means the goods and services identified in the Goods and Services section of the Agreement;
‘Lender’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ means the lender whose details appear in the Parties section of the Agreement.
‘Repayment’ means each repayment of the Amount of Loan stated in the Repayments section of the Agreement;
‘Repayment Date’ means each date stated in the Repayments section of the Agreement for the making of a repayment;
‘Supplier’ means the supplier whose details appear in the Goods and Services section of the Agreement;
‘Supplier Agreement’ means the agreement made between you and the Supplier in connection with the supply of the Goods and Services; and
‘Total Amount Payable’ means the amount stated in the Financial Details section of the Agreement as the total amount payable by you under this Agreement.
2 Scope of Agreement:
This Agreement sets out the terms of which we are providing to you a loan for the purchase of Goods and/or Services.
3 Payment
3.1 Deposit
If you have not already paid the Deposit, you will pay the Deposit on the date of this Agreement to us.
3.2 Repayments
You agree to pay us all Repayments on the Repayment Dates. Punctual payment in full is essential and it is your responsibility to ensure that payments reach us on time.
3.3 Default Charges
3.3.1 Where a fixed sum default charge is stated, we may charge you this on the occurrence of the event giving rise to the Default Charge without further notice to you.
3.3.2 For any other Default Charges, you agree to pay these within 14 days of service of a demand on you.
3.4 Payment Method
You agree to pay the Deposit, Repayments and any fixed sum Default Charges by Credit Card, Debit Card, Direct Debit, Bank Transfer or Cash payment. We may permit you to use an alternative method of payment at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to charge you 1.5% of the amount paid if you pay by Credit Card.
3.5 Card and Direct Debit Payments:
If you are to pay by card or direct debit:-
3.5.1 in the case of card payments, you must provide details of the card to be used for payment (if you have not already done so) which must be in your sole name, including card number, expiry date and security code. If you are to pay by direct debit, you must complete such form of instruction to your bank as we may require; and
3.5.2 you authorise us to collect the Deposit on the dates stated on this Agreement from your specified card or bank account; and
3.5.3 you authorise us to collect each Repayment from your specified card or bank account, without notice to you on or at any time after each Repayment Date; and
3.5.4 you authorise us to collect any fixed sum Default Charges from your specified card or bank account without notice to you, when such Default Charges have been incurred by you; and
3.5.5 you authorise us to collect any outstanding balance if you withdraw from or rescind this Agreement;
3.5.6 if any specified payment method fails for any reason you authorise us to take any amount due from you by any other method you have authorised us to use.
3.6 You may settle this Agreement at any time by giving us notice in writing or orally and paying to us all amounts remaining to be paid under this Agreement.

5 Change of Address
You must notify us in writing within 7 days of changing your address from that shown on this Agreement or any other address previously notified by you under this clause 5.
6 Notices to you
Any notice given to you under this Agreement shall be deemed to be properly served if sent to you by pre-paid post addressed to you at your last known address. You further agree that as an alternative to contacting you by post we may contact you by email and/or SMS. Such communication may include matters confidential to you.
7 Waiver
We may on occasion, at our sole and absolute discretion, allow you extra time to pay, or decide not to exercise or wait before exercising our rights. However if we do so, we shall still be entitled to insist on the strict terms of this Agreement later on.
8 Third Party Rights
This Agreement does not confer any rights on any person other than the Lender and the Customer, and the Contracts (Right of Third Parties Act) Act 1999 shall not apply.
9 Transfer of Our Rights
We shall be entitled at any time to assign, transfer or grant a charge over the benefit of this Agreement and our rights under this Agreement (including our rights to the debt due under this Agreement) to any other person, firm or Company. Such assignment, transfer or change will not vary the terms of this Agreement. If any payments are missed and we have to pass the debt to an external company, extra fees may be occurred.
10 Law
This Agreement is governed by English Law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
11 Customer Information and Data Protection
We will hold information about you and your payment record in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We may give such information to credit reference agencies, debt collecting agents, and any proposed assignee, transferee or charge of our interest in or any of your debts under this Agreement. We will not share such information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. You have a legal right under the Data Protection Act 1998 to a copy of information held by us about you on payment of a fee.
PRIVACY POLICY
At My Local Studio, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers. In particular, we want you to know that My Local Studio will only pass on your personal data to other partnered businesses for the purposes of booking your photoshoot to the appropriate or selected studio.
When someone visits www.mylocalstudio.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
As part of the photoshoot purchase process, we collect personal information from yourselves. We use that information for a few reasons: to connect you will the best local photographers within our network, to assist you in the arrangement of your photoshoot and taking a deposit to secure your booking, to contact you if we need to discuss your shoot or order; to check our records are right; to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied; to offer our latest deals and offers (if you have opted in to our marketing list at the time of booking, either verbally during your booking phone call, via our website or by ticking the relevant box on our disclaimer in the studio); to provide invoices or receipts to you electronically; to email you images or samples of products you have purchased. We only use the data you have provided to us for the purpose of contacting you regarding photography services with our My Local Studio Partners.
MARKETING
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, Clicksend and Freshsales to deliver our offer emails. If permission is given at the time of booking, either verbally over the phone, by ticking the permission box on our website or by completing our disclaimer in the studio, you will be added to our marketing mailing list to receive offers from My Local Studio only. You will need to confirm your permission via the initial marketing email received from us in order to be added to the list. You can unsubscribe to offer mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our offer emails or by emailing to info@mylocalstudio.co.uk
We will not be held accountable for any data collected or given by the individual studio partners. Check with your selected studio individually for their general terms and conditions.

We also use a third-party provider, Freshsales, to store customer contact details for the sole purpose of marketing and ongoing communications once you have shown interest in receiving further information relating to our business activities. BOOKINGS
Check with the vendor directly for their third-party provider. The information you provide to them during your time as a customer may be stored within their system for the purpose of contact regarding your booking. You can read each vendor's privacy policy on their own websites.

DATA COLLECTED THROUGH YOUR INTERACTION WITH MY LOCAL STUDIO
Check with your selected Vendor for data policy. Various technologies may be used on our websites and our (mobile) applications in order to improve them, make them more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Such technologies may lead to personal data being collected automatically by us or by third parties on our behalf. Examples of such technologies include cookies, flash cookies, web analytics and Google. As an EEA, EU or UK user, by submitting each form completed, you are agreeing that My Local Studio and third party (inclusive of Google products) users will use this data through interaction with us.
We may collect information about your computer for system administration purposes as well as to report aggregate information for internal marketing analysis reasons. This is data about our users' browsing actions and patterns and may include the following:

By completing ALL website forms, you agree for My Local Studio to retain and store your data in order to contact you directly. This may be to book your photoshoot, notify your about offers & promotions, customer surveys, competition winner prizes and answer general enquiries. As an EEA, EU or UK user, by submitting each form completed, you are agreeing that My Local Studio and third party (inclusive of Google products) users will use this data.

Each third party (Adsense, Facebook Pixel, may collect, receive or use end users’ personal data as a consequence of your use of a Google product.

Our operations are based in the UK at My Local Studio, 77 Alston Drive, Milton Keynes, MK13 9HG and your personal information is generally processed, stored and used within the UK and other countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). In some instances your personal information may be processed outside the European Economic Area by third party providers Google, Freshsales, Click Send, Acuity & Facebook.
If and when this is the case we take steps to ensure there is an appropriate level of security so your personal information is protected in the same way as if it was being used within the EEA.
Where we need to transfer your data outside the UK or EEA we will use one of the following safeguards:
